JHT Market Update - EP 05

Showing Guidelines During COVID-19

Script:

With COVID-19, there are a few changes to the way we can do showings. Here are the four new rules we must follow to safely and efficiently do in-person showings.

Rule Number 1.

If a visitor has been afflicted with, or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 such as a cough, shortness of breath, or fever, there will be no showings permitted.

Rule Number 2.

Before any showings, the newly introduced ‘PEAD’ form, which stands for Coronavirus Property Entry Advisory and Declaration form, must be signed by clients and the agent.

Rule Number 3

There can only be 2 clients and their single agent inside the house during the showing  at a one time and everyone needs to make sure to keep the 6ft distancing rule.

Rule Number 4

Everyone must wear protective face masks, wash their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer, and adhere to any other requirements the owner has, such as shoe covers and gloves.

While viewing the property, avoid touching any surfaces or items in the property: door handles, faucets, light switches, and such items for your safety.

Then, at the end of your showing, discard any gloves, masks and any other protective items worn during the visit and  wash your hands.

By following these steps, this will allow us Real Estate agents to continue to serve our clients in the most efficient and safest way possible.
